About Me

I am a current firefighter, paramedic and hazardous materials technician with a specialty in CBRNE and WMD.

I’ve been doing hazmat for over 20 years, combined with my current fire department, previous departments and the US Marine Corps. I have been a paramedic for 14 years, all of them 911 based and several years as a critical care interfacility medic for Johns Hopkins Lifeline.

I am a 40 year old who sees a lack of understanding in the hazardous materials field especially with how it applies to medicine, and my goal is to collect information as and try to help spread that information to others. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, or if there’s a topic you’d like to know about, shoot me an email and I’ll add it to the growing list of topics to address. I also have started consulting, writing some blogs for FOAMfrat (http://www.foamfrat.com) if you’re interested in looking for content there.
